The campaign to create a new Business Plan for Britain
The Future Economy Alliance unites champions of change across business sectors working to build a stronger, fairer, greener economic climate for the UK. It represent activists, entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders who understand that profit must also benefit people and planet.
This pioneering partnership, convened by Social Enterprise UK, brings together social enterprises, co-operatives, mutuals, employee-owned businesses, social investors, community-led organisations, fundraisers and third sector experts united in the vision of an economy where our entire society profits.
In the run up to the next General Election, and beyond, the Alliance will be pushing our elected representatives to create a new Business Plan for Britain focused on fundamental economic reform, climate action, local power, a more effective partnership between the state and purpose led businesses, and the use of technology to reduce not exacerbate inequalities and protect our shared home.

We have exciting plans for the Future Economy Alliance – we will run policy and public affairs workshops, convene policy-makers and social enterprise experts, bring in marketing and comms resources, lobby parliamentary candidates, build the evidence base for different ways of doing business, run impactful public facing campaigns, secure media coverage and host events and roundtables.
