Essential Requirements:
Qualifications, Experience, and Compliance
● Experience:
○ 3+ years of successful management experience in a fast-paced hospitality
environment or a commercial social enterprise.
○ Proven track record of increasing sales, working with suppliers, and stock ordering.
○ Sufficient experience to oversee coffee and food production lines.
● Compliance & Technical Skills:
○ Food Safety Level 3 Qualified.
○ Barista trained.
○ Deep understanding of Health & Safety (H&S) regulations and food hygiene
certification.
Skills and Knowledge
● Commercial & Operational:
○ Strong financial literacy (to manage Profit & Loss, labour costs, inventory, and
supplier relationships).
○ Menu development experience.
○ Good IT skills, familiar with office software.
○ Database/Social Media basics.
● Organisational:
○ Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
○ The ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
○ Problem solving attitude with an eye for detail.
Personal Qualities and Leadership
● Mindset: An entrepreneurial “owner” mentality with a passion for social equity.
● Communication & Emotional Intelligence:
○ Outstanding written/oral communication and interpersonal abilities.
○ High emotional intelligence (EQ) and patience.
○ Natural talent for motivating and managing a team.
● Commitment: Availability to work during opening hours), including school holidays, Bank
