Christmas is less than a month away but there is still plenty of time to use your spending power to buy social! Social enterprises are selling quality Christmas gifts from fashion and chocolates to toys and homeware, each one helping make the world a better place.

In this Christmas webinar we’re going to be speaking to two inspiring social entrepreneurs about their social enterprise story and how the products they sell help change lives.

We’ll hear from Dave Linton, founder and CEO of Madlug – a Northern Ireland based social enterprise selling award winning bags. For every bag sold, a pack away bag is given to a child in care. 40,000 children enter the UK care system every year and most of them have their belongings moved in black plastic bin bags or plastic shopping bags. Madlug is helping bring dignity to children in the care system.

We’ll also be speaking to Kerrine Bryan – founder of Butterfly Books, a social enterprise which creates playful and thought-provoking children’s books which challenge stereotypes and perceptions around jobs and gender. With titles including ‘My Mummy is a Plumber’ and ‘My Daddy is a Nurse, it’s a social enterprise breaking down barriers and inspiring the social entrepreneurs of the future.
