Our services include promotional video production, digital marketing and event photography. We also offer mentoring to other entrepreneurs and social enterprises creating a buddying environment so they can grow and thrive in their respected sectors. We support people with special educational needs, mental health, dementia and addiction using innovative and engaging projects to empower educate and inspire communities that have previously been identified as disadvantaged and hard to reach.

The Big Lemon

The Big Lemon operates local bus services and coach hire out of Brighton for a wide variety of private parties, weddings, sports clubs, schools, colleges, universities, business and conferences. We also run festival coaches to a wide range of music festivals and outdoor events such as Glastonbury, Bestival, Reading, Latitude, Shambala and Lewes Bonfire. Our mission is to give communities across the UK access to friendly, affordable and environmentally-sustainable public transport. Originally in Brighton & Hove, we are now working with people throughout the UK to bring The Big Lemon to their communities.

Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company

Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company, a social enterprise run by national charity RBLI, provides employment to Armed Forces veterans and people with disabilities and health conditions. 70% of the team have a disability or are ex-service, and together they are part of a social enterprise with a £5M turnover, making them one of the biggest manufacturing social enterprises in the UK.

Employers For Childcare has supported employers and working parents since 1998. We administer the only Social Enterprise Childcare Voucher scheme in the UK, donating 100% of profits to our charitable activities. London Early Years Foundation’s (LEYF) ambition is to change the world one child at a time through the delivery of our social enterprise community nursery model, where social and commercial goals blend in the pursuit of a fairer and more equal society. We want to transform the way the public view early childhood education and the importance of the first years of life. At LEYF our social enterprise approach is built into every aspect of our practice. The LEYF pedagogy ensures that all our 38 nurseries (across 11 London boroughs) deliver the best quality care and education to children.

The Music Hub

The Music Hub is a social enterprise musical instrument and supplies business. We have a passion to support music education and inspire and nurture the future generation of musicians so we reinvest 100% of our profits primarily in youth music education services. Everything we do helps to support the services provided by music hubs and/ or fledgling community music programmes across the country. The Skill Mill

The Skill Mill is a Social Enterprise providing employment opportunities for ex-young offenders and NEETS aged 16 to 24. We provides paid environmental based employment with practical on the job training in environmental maintenance services in Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Durham and Scarborough. The programme is a unique approach to both the rehabilitation and empowerment of vulnerable young people and practical improvement of local environments and increased resilience of local communities. An in-depth evaluation into the Skill Mill by Northumbria University demonstrated the impact the programme has by dramatic decreases in reoffending rates amongst the cohort. 

Unity Trust Bank 

Unity is a commercial bank with a difference; we only lend to organisations and businesses who help create a better society. Our purpose is to enable organisations to prosper and contribute to economic, community and environmental change. We offer an ethical alternative for organisations and businesses with a social conscience. In 2017 we provided £96.3m in lending with 107 loans provided; created 715 jobs; created and renovated 567 bed spaces; and we have provided 30 community facilities. Our staff volunteered 209 days, donating £6,077 to good causes. Our Executive Committee is 60% comprised of women and we have supported 54 organisations through our 'Unity in the Community' Programme.
