Work Well Suffolk Coaching Team
Do you want to be in at the start of something amazing? Do you want to shape and build an exciting new coaching service providing personalised health, wellbeing, employability and skills support to vulnerable adults?
We want to put together the best team of people across Suffolk; engaging, motivated and innovative professionals who will deliver a bespoke, holistic and integrated coaching service for adults with disabilities and health conditions to improve their quality of life, independence and provide opportunities for progression into sustainable employment, where appropriate. This will be achieved through building and sustaining relationships with existing health and local government professionals as well as community organisations, learning/training providers and employers. The service will be focused on vulnerable adults with autism, mental health issues, learning difficulties and other barriers to work.
We are recruiting for the following positions:
Coach (2 x 37 hour posts in West Suffolk, 2 x 37 hour posts in Babergh & Mid Suffolk, 2 x 37 hour and 1 x 18.5 hour posts in Ipswich and 3 x 37 hour posts in East Suffolk & Waveney)
Starting salary: £22,950 per annum rising to £24,300 following a successful three – month probationary period.
Work base: Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich & Lowestoft
Through the development of a trusted relationship with a participant caseload in a designated geographical patch, each Coach will conduct a holistic needs assessment and develop a mutually agreed plan to address individual needs and aspirations. The postholder(s) will forge effective relationships with statutory and voluntary organisation that include the local network of Social Prescribing schemes to ensure a flow of referrals to and from the service. Knowledge of and strong links within your local community is critical to the success of the delivery of this programme. It is important that you understand local labour market trends and are confident in managing an integrated service approach.
Please Note: For Coach roles, access to your own transport is essential as working from multiple locations on the same day may be involved and public transport will not allow you to fulfil the required travelling for these posts.
