Chris Luck, CB, MBE is a senior leader with an entrepreneurial and values-based approach and specialises in strategic planning, development, turnaround, transformation and scaling.

A former Air Vice-Marshal, Chris is Group CEO of Shaw Trust, a charity-owned social purpose organisation challenging inequality and breaking down barriers to enable social mobility. With more than 3,300 employees and 700 volunteers across the UK, Shaw Trust is the UK’s largest Not-for-Profit (NFP) social enterprise in the employment sector. The Group includes a multi-academy trust of 28 schools (Shaw Education Trust), a regulated children’s care homes business (Homes2Inspire), a learning and skills company (Ixion) and several additional trading legal entities (Prospects, Optimus Education).

Prior to joining Shaw Trust Chris was CEO of the Defence Academy of the UK and the Commandant of the Joint Services Command and Staff College, with responsibility for the education of the future commanders and staff officers of all the armed services from the UK and many countries around the world.
