A leading UK housing group has partnered with a career development app in an innovative partnership as part of its £5million a year investment in communities.

Orbit has partnered, as part of its Better Days programme, with social enterprise Stay Nimble to establish digital support in the delivery of employment and training services to hundreds of residents.

The relationship started through a meet the buyer event, run by the social enterprise procurement platform Supply Change. Supply Change matches buyers with social enterprise suppliers of goods and services through their online procurement tool.

Orbit chose to partner with Stay Nimble following rigorous testing with the employment team and analysis against our customer’s needs. Stay Nimble’s unique combination of local labour market data matched with a person’s individual personality strengths attracted Orbit to the platform, as an important digital opportunity to scale and personalise the employability support it offers.

The initial rollout will provide 150 Orbit customers nine months of access to the Stay Nimble platform to help them to develop their careers, alongside access to the employment team at Orbit.
