SharpFutures, the Manchester-based social enterprise supporting diverse talent into employment in the creative digital and tech sectors, today invites ambitious Yorkshire-based content creators to become a part of Content Creatives.

Content Creatives is a new creative talent development programme delivered with the support of Channel 4 and their Leeds-based digital content production team, 4Studio.

The programme will inspire and encourage a new generation of digital content makers in Yorkshire, offering six paid placements to develop skills, experience and editorial voice. It is a full-time paid-for course for a broad range of people, whatever their background and employment status.

SharpFutures are working with Job Centre Plus and DWP work coaches in the region to reach as diverse an audience as possible. They are specifically looking for people who may not have considered applying for such a course before.

The 12-week programme is for individuals aged 18-24 years old, living in Yorkshire, and is part of Channel 4’s commitment to developing talent in the UK nations and regions.

“I’m incredibly excited to bring opportunities to young creatives in the North. Being able to work directly with these young people will benefit 4Studio just as much as it will the participants. We firmly believe that creative talent can come from anywhere – no matter your background, qualifications or who your parents know.”
