The Virtual Events Experience the first social enterprise events agency specialized in virtual events certified by Social Enterprise UK joined forces with Break the Ice Forum the best B2B MICE industry networking Forum to launch the first CSR industry networking event in aid of Buses 4 Homeless a CIC social enterprise helping homeless people to reengage into society.

Matthieu Lagae, Founder of Break the Ice Forum shared the reason why to launch the event together:
“Break the Ice Forum partnered with Pamela Benitez from The Virtual Events Experience to create an online event for event planners to meet online event suppliers. The first reason is that we know personally Pamela having met her during our physical forums where event planners meet hotels and convention bureaus in a 2 days 2 nights networking event. We have been in support of the creation of her Social Enterprise, giving back 51% of her annual profits to benefit good causes. We wanted to help even more and so we decided together to bring the spotlight to a non-profit organisation that has had a hard time in this period due to budget cut of their sponsors and not being able to organise physical events. We were already in contact with Buses 4 Homeless as we planned to collaborate together on our April 2020 Break the Ice Forum live event in Oxford. At Break the Ice Forum we always try to help or bring attention to a social or sustainable cause: such as cleaning the canals of Amsterdam with small boats, experiencing in Hamburg what blind or non-hearing people are living, learning about global warming in Chamonix, creating bonds with refugees artist through workshops in Brussels and Berlin.
