Welcome to Dr Helen Glenister
The next 12 months…
2017/18 will be a seminal year for this social enterprise which originated as a spin out from the NHS in 2011, thus Helen comes into the role at a time of new developments, innovations and opportunities for the organisation.
A little bit about Helen
With a nursing background, Helen brings with her the experience of 30 years working within and with the NHS from primary care through acute and into commissioning environments. She played a key role in establishing the National Patient Safety Agency and has undertaken work with the World Health Organisation on quality of care and safer practice solutions. While working in the private sector, Helen had a focus on health and wellness programmes and the role technology can play in enhancing delivery of care and engagement.
Helen has held many executive roles on Boards in the public and private sector, and is currently a Trustee of Isobel Hospice in Welwyn. She brings a wide range of public and commercial experiences to Accelerate.
