About Livewell Southwest CIC
Livewell Southwest CIC is the largest community health and adult social care enterprise in the UK. Founded in 2011, we work alongside local NHS hospitals and services to deliver expert care now, and for future generations.
We provide a number of health and care services to local people, including:
- Community nursing
- Services for people with learning difficulties
- Community mental health services
- Social work
- Services for children and young people
Our vision is for wellbeing to be at the heart of everything we do, with healthy people and healthy communities being our long-term investment priority.
Mission and Impact
Our mission is to support people to stay well in the place and community in which they live, where they can enjoy the best quality of life. We employ over 3,000 people working across 84 services, and in 2017, we treated more than 74,000 people of which over a third were seen at a home location.
We believe that by ensuring equal access for all, treating the whole person, and wrapping care around the people we serve in the communities where they live, we can improve people’s lives. We approach our work from the perspective of people, not patients.
