Walsingham Support is a leading UK charity, with strong values and a successful track record of developing and delivering high quality personalised support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. We make a difference to the lives of hundreds of people and their families every day.

As part of our ambitious growth strategy we have launched our subsidiary Walsingham Support Community Solutions (WSCS), to capitalise on our expertise and reach, broaden our offering, and explore new ways to support some of the most vulnerable people in our society.  Our flagship WSCS service is located at Forge Fach in Swansea, providing valued resources to the wider community, including catering and business services.

This is an exceptionally exciting opportunity to develop WSCS through identifying and developing new business initiatives across the UK.  You will lead WSCS in building a portfolio of social enterprises, community hubs and initiatives of community benefit to with a strategic priority of provision for people with disabilities.  You will be responsible for Forge Fach, which will provide a valuable launch-pad, but as a national role extensive travel will be required, so location is flexible.

A dynamic and creative leader, you will bring business acumen balanced with an understanding of how to build internal and external partnerships and implement commercial ideas in a not for profit environment.  A self-starter, you will have the strategic vision to grow WSCS into an integral part of Walsingham Support’s work nationally.

It goes without saying that, in line with our values and ethos, you will be dedicated to ensuring that people we support are fully included in all areas of the business.

If you are excited by the opportunity to deliver tangible benefits for the people we support and their communities across the UK and leave a lasting legacy in a high profile role, then we look forward to hearing from you.

If you would like the opportunity to discuss the role further please call Human Resources on 0208 3450 4213, asking for Alex Photiades.
