Claire oversees the research programme at SEUK, scoping out and planning new research projects and coordinating current research.

With over 15 years of experience as a researcher and project manager, she has extensive experience of both quantitative and qualitative research methods, in particular, designing and leading workshops and participatory research methods. She has published widely on a diverse range of issues, such as public service reform, public health, the arts and culture, the VCSE sector, civil society and systems change. 

Before working at SEUK, Claire worked as Head of Research for the local government think tank, New Local Government Network, as a Support Officer for a Local Involvement Network (LINk) in London and she  carried out research for the Social Inclusion Unit of Cork City Council.

Claire holds a PhD (NUI) in Social Sustainability, an MA in Geography (Sustainable Development) and a BA in Mathematics/Geography from University College Cork (NUI).
