Chief Executive Officer (part-time with option for full-time)

Bristol area

c£56,000 FTE

Decipher Impact is an award-winning social enterprise committed to improving public health through the provision of innovative, evidence-based programmes.

We are a small team based in lovely offices on the outskirts of Bristol and we now need to recruit a CEO to lead us though a period of anticipated growth.  We want to build on the success of our ASSIST smoking prevention programme, by identifying and bringing to market a number of other quality, evidence-based interventions both in the UK and overseas.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about good health - both their own and helping others to live healthier lives.  You will be engaging with a wide range of professional people, so you will have the confidence, gravitas and social skills to speak with passion and integrity in a variety of settings and locations.  This might involve out of hours telephone calls and overseas travel.

Not only will we need you to sell new products to customers, we will expect you to develop a pipeline of relevant products, recommending those you feel deserve investment.

You will love leading, inspiring and developing teams, identifying skills and potential in others and helping them to develop.  We are a small, resourceful team and we need someone who will complement our existing staff.  You will fill many of the organisation’s current gaps, but will also know your limits and thus when to source additional expertise.
