There are over 100,000 social enterprises in the UK providing almost every product or service you can think of, from your morning cup of coffee to office supplies and healthcare. They’re also tackling a huge range of social and environmental issues, from homelessness and mental heath to global food waste. We’ve listed some places below where you can #BuySocial in the UK, including a marketplace which features certified SEUK members.
Later this year we will also be launching a brand new platform where you will be able to search for social enterprises by location, industry and impact, making it easier than ever to #BuySocial. The platform is being developed in partnership with SAP and will feature certified Social Enterprise UK members. Sign up to our newsletter and other communications to be the first to hear when the platform launches.
Take a look at some of our certified social enterprise members in the following areas:
The Big Issue Shop stocks a great range of social enterprise retail products, including clothing, homewares and artwork. They are also currently featuring a collection of products from shortlisted social enterprises in the 2019 UK Social Enterprise Awards. Shop online on the Big Issue Shop here.
If your workplace is based in central London you can easily order social enterprise products to be delivered directly to your doorstep. We’ve worked with Zepbrook to create a #BuySocial range, exclusively made up of social enterprise products. View the range here.
Co-op stores across the UK stock a number of social enterprises products, including those that feature in our augmented reality (AR) campaign for Buy Social for a Better World (BECO., Brewgooder, Hey Girls and Toast Ale). Find your nearest Co-op store here.
