43% of UK businesses suffered a a cyber breach in the past 12 months.

And cyber breaches cost the average small business over £25,000 in basic ‘clear up’ costs every year.

And yet only 25 per cent of charities are updating software or malware protections and a third of businesses 33% do not provide staff with guidance on passwords.

Our aim is to make Lambeth the most cyber savvy place in London. Lambeth charities can find out more about protecting sensitive data during a free cyber security workshop at Lambeth Town Hall.

The Cyber Safe Lambeth Workshop will be run by The Integrate Agency CIC, a social enterprise that supports the community through world class training, advocacy and support services. #IntegratedChange

Only 14% of charities believe they are well-protected against cyber-attacks & data breaches and the Information Commissioners Office has reported a 21% increase in data security incidents in the charity sector.

Funded by Big Lottery Fund, the session will inform attendees of the requirements of data protection legislation including GDPR, and discuss practical controls which charities should have in place.
