Social Enterprise Mark coming in the New Year

The Coalition and RISE have officially entered into a joint venture that will administer a new national Social Enterprise Mark, which will be launched in the New Year.
Steve Wyler, who is the chair of the Steering Group that has been working on an identifier for Social Enterprise said the following:
“We’re really excited to officially make the Social Enterprise Mark available to social enterprises across the UK. As RISE’s Mark has shown and research has confirmed – there is a need for a visual identity for social enterprises in order to significantly raise awareness and understanding of the added value of what social enterprises do. We have to be ambitious about social enterprise and aim for widespread visibility – we believe this new Mark will help move social enterprise into the mainstream, where it belongs.”
