London Early Years FoundationSocial enterprises are becoming increasingly involved in the provision of services for children and young people. From running childcare facilities and after-school clubs to providing health care and alternative education services, social enterprises are working hard to ensure that children and young people across the UK get the best possible start in life.

At the Coalition, we are working closely with the Department for Education (DfE) raise awareness of social enterprises that provide children and young people's services and the benefits they offer, and to ensure that they have equal access to the market.

We are also members of the End Child Poverty Campaign which aims to end child poverty by 2020. Social enterprises across the UK are making an extremely valuable contribution to this cause and, together with other members of the campaign, we will work hard to achieve the goal of lifting all children out of poverty.

If you have any questions about our work on children and young people's services or would like to find out more, please contact Olof Jonsdottir at olof.jonsdottir@socialenterprise.org.uk.
