Apply to join the Social Enterprise Coalition's board
The Coalition is seeking to appoint three additional board members (unpaid positions) to compliment those elected through its Council. Two of these need to be social enterprise practitioners. The board are keen to encourage applications from individuals with finance, marketing or communications backgrounds.
Claire Dove, chair of the Social Enterprise Coalition said: "Our new board structure was put in place to allow us to be as strategic and informed as possible. These three positions on the board give us the opportunity to cast a wide net in order to reach people whose skills will be complimentary to the board we have in place already.
"Two of the positions must be held by social enterprise practitioners, but the third is open to everyone. We encourage professionals who believe they have something to contribute to the social enterprise movement to apply. We're looking to create a diverse, well-rounded board that is reflective of the social enterprise movement and the values it encompasses."
The closing date for applications is Friday 16 October.
