SEUK members feature in poster advertising campaign
Business in the Community today launched an advertising campaign to raise the profile of social enterprises that are creating jobs and transforming communities in the Olympic Host Boroughs.
All of the social enterprises featured in the campaign are part of arc, a Business in the Community initiative that aims to create 1,000 jobs in the Olympic host boroughs by 2015.
The posters, which will appear throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games, hope to encourage consumers to make the conscious choice to buy products and services from social enterprises.
The advertising campaign features Bikeworks, which creates employment and training opportunities for disadvantaged communities by maintaining and recycling bikes, CLARITY Employment for Blind People, which employs blind and disabled people in its factory manufacturing soaps and toiletries, as well as Belu and Circle Sports.
The posters are on display at 20 locations around London including Liverpool Street, King’s Cross St Pancras and Waterloo stations as well as on 100 DLR carriages.
