Calling all young social entrepreneurs
Join us at a networking event to share thoughts and ideas on how to use business to change society.
Are you a young social entrepreneur looking to network and meet like-minded people? Join Social Enterprise UK and upReach on 17 September, for an evening of networking and ideas sharing at the Hoxton Apprentice. The event is a chance to discuss the change in business and society that can be brought about by social entrepreneurs, and the best ways of sharing knowledge and learnings. It’s also a great opportunity to meet your peers, see what exciting things they’re up to, and have a chat about the wonderful world of social enterprise.
The evening will also host the launch of How To Make a Million Jobs: A Charter for Social Enterprise, a new book by serial entrepreneur Colin Crooks. The event will be attended by leading social entrepreneurs and other prominent individuals in the social enterprise sector. Chris White, MP and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Social Enterprise will be speaking at the event, as will Peter Holbrook, Social Enterprise UK CEO. How To Make a Million Jobs: A Charter for Social Enterprise focuses on the issues surrounding UK unemployment and what can be done to help create jobs and alleviate the problems associated with millions being out work.
Join us for the book launch at 6.30pm. If you’re unable to attend the launch, we’d be delighted if you’d join us after 8pm for networking.
