HOW TO JOIN

If your turnover is up to £10m - complete the online form and have your credit / debit card details ready

If your turnover is £10m plus - there are two options. Either complete the online form and pay online by credit / debit card. Or we can raise an invoice: if this is your preference contact us on 020 3589 4948 or membership@socialenterprise.org.uk and we will process your application - please do not complete the online form.

In the spirit of social enterprise, our fees are affordable and based on the size of each member’s turnover. Our larger member fees enable us to help up-and-coming social enterprise and social enterprise supporter members.

HOW WE USE OUR MEMBERSHIP FEES

Effective campaigns – like the one that  ensured the Social Value Act 2012 was passed and is now law. Because of it, Social Value must now be taken into account when Government spending decisions are made. They total £236 billion a year – and social enterprises, charities and UK taxpayers are going to benefit.

Robust and respected research like the State of Social Enterprise – the UK’s biggest and most comprehensive regular survey of social enterprises. It gives clear information to private, public and social economy organisations about how the social enterprise movement is growing, what it’s doing, and what is likely to happen next in it.

Build networks between start-up, growing and large, well-established social enterprises in all sectors – we promote inter-trading so that the UK’s social enterprise movement can help itself to grow and deliver more.

Build profiles of people and businesses in the sector – we have a busy website, a busy press office, a busy political affairs team and a network of more than 10,000 interested organisations that we’re in regular contact with.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Please note that we only offer membership to organisations, this includes Sole Traders, Limited Companies, CICs and other legal entities.

If your social enterprise is in its first year of trading, please select your membership fee band based on your estimated turnover for the current financial year.
